Legal Notice and Terms of Website Use

1. Provider identification

In compliance with Article 10 of Ley 34/2002, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE):

CortoCasa is a brand and a product owned by Teleport Dynamix, S.L.

2. Purpose

This Legal Notice governs access to and use of the website at cortocasa.com and its subdomains (the "Website"), and addresses any visitor, whether or not they hold an account.

Use of the application (app.cortocasa.com), account registration and the purchase of plans are governed by the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. The order of precedence across our contract documents is set out in section 21.1 of the Terms of Service.

3. Use of the Website

By accessing the Website you become a user and accept this Legal Notice. You agree to use it lawfully and in good faith and, in particular, not to: distribute unlawful content; damage, overload or disable the Website or introduce malicious code; attempt to access restricted areas or third-party data; or carry out systematic extraction of content (scraping) without our express written permission.

The contact forms are for sales, support and partnership enquiries. Using them to send unsolicited commercial messages is prohibited and may result in the sender being blocked.

The Website may link to third-party pages that we do not control and for whose content and availability we are not responsible; a link implies no relationship or endorsement. Linking to the Website does not authorise you to reproduce its content or to suggest a commercial relationship that does not exist.

We may suspend or refuse access, without prior notice, to anyone who breaches this section.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

Rights in the Website and its contents — text, images, graphic design, software and navigation structure — belong to Teleport Dynamix or its licensors. "CortoCasa" and "Teleport Dynamix", together with their logos, are distinctive signs of Teleport Dynamix.

Their reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without our express written authorisation is prohibited, and accessing the Website grants you no right to them. Citing and linking to the Website is permitted where done fairly and without creating confusion as to commercial origin.

Third-party names appearing for identification or comparison are trade marks of their owners; mentioning them implies no sponsorship or association.

5. Disclaimer

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Website, or that its content is free from errors or fully up to date. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance or causes beyond our control, for your improper use of the Website, or for harmful elements introduced by third parties.

Explanatory content on the Website, including articles about short-term rental regulation, does not constitute legal, tax or professional advice — check how it applies to your situation with a qualified adviser.

Nothing above excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence under Article 1102 of the Spanish Civil Code.

6. Personal data

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.

Where we are the controller of your data, you may exercise your rights at privacy@cortocasa.com, as described in section 7 of the Privacy Policy. If your data sits in the workspace of a CortoCasa customer — for example because you are a guest at one of their properties — that customer is the controller, not us. Where you tell us which customer, or we can identify them from what you send, we will pass your request on and confirm that we have done so; otherwise we will tell you what we need. Section 7.2 of the Privacy Policy describes this.

In either case you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es).

7. Pricing information

Prices are published at cortocasa.com/pricing.html, in US dollars (USD) and excluding VAT and other indirect taxes, which are calculated and added at checkout based on the buyer's location. The service is sold to businesses and professionals.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record. Under its Buyer Terms, which govern your order alongside our documents, Paddle handles invoicing, taxes and returns. As this is a service supplied electronically, no delivery-cost information applies.

8. Commercial communications

In accordance with Article 21 LSSI-CE, we send commercial email only to people who have requested or expressly authorised it, or where there is a prior contractual relationship and the message concerns similar services. You may object simply and free of charge in every message or by writing to privacy@cortocasa.com.

9. Changes and governing law

We may amend this Legal Notice and the Website's contents to reflect legal, technical or business developments. Changes take effect on publication; the "last updated" date identifies the current version and previous ones are archived at cortocasa.com/legal/archive/.

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. Any question concerning its interpretation and performance is subject to the Courts and Tribunals of València, with waiver of any other jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory jurisdiction available to consumers.
